12-YEAR OLD DISTRICT TEAM SELECTED

Please see below message from Manager Matthew Wood.

Hello All:

I would like to reiterate that I greatly appreciate the time that you allowed me to spend with your young men over the past few days. I am proud of the way they competed; you should be as well.

The decision-making process to select the 13 individuals for the 2020 12U Trumbull All-Star Team was not easy.  To be truthful, it was agonizing for me as many talented kids did not make the cut.  I explained to all of the players and parents in attendance that everyone worked hard and improved from Friday to Sunday which proves that they all have the talent to go further in the game of baseball;  this should not be the end of the baseball road for the players that did not make the cut.  Additionally, I explained to all of the boys that those that did make the cut should be supportive of the individuals that did not.  Please help your Players follow through with that.

That being said, CONGRATULATIONS to the young men listed below.  They will be the first representatives of the combined 12U Trumbull All-Star team.  We have a lot of work ahead of us and I hope that I am up to the challenge….I mean the young men are up to the challenge….oh heck…WE WILL MEET THE CHALLENGE TOGETHER.
